KPL ultra-light is an excellent product for your slip joint and automatic knives. I’ve used it on knives including Microtech, Benchmade, Case, vintage NY Schrade and Camillus, Buck, Victorinox and more. It is noticeably thinner than the KPL Original and works well at getting into the tight joints found on these kinds of knives. I was impressed that this lubricant worked on a particularly stubborn vintage Case stockman with a very stiff spey blade. After working some KPL ultra-light into the pivot, the action has smoothed out considerably. I also love the lubricant color, as it allows me to see exactly where it is applied.
this stuff makes all my otfs feel faster... i enjoy using the normal 15w on flippers still.
KPL Ultralight has made my newer knives smoother and faster and, after a good cleaning, has resurrected some knives I though were lost causes !!

Excellent product that improves the smooth action on my knives. I clean it with Clenzoil, apply a light coat, let it dry for 24 hours, then apply 2 to 4 drops of KLP Ultra-Light oil, depending on the knife. I carry every day. On fixed blades, I use a special wax. Tuff-Dry has been rotated from knives to tripods. KLP is highly recommended for fast blade action.

This works beautifully in my Axial OTF and my folding knives!
OTF knife was malfunctioning and after using this oil it is working fine again.
Finally got my Swiss Army knives lubed.

Functionally the product works great, but the color does stain knife handle scales made of natural material like bone or stag with a pinkish hue.

Great oil for my 112 & 110 automatics. I sometimes add a drop of the Dry Film lubricant as well.

I have all three KPL viscosities. Each is good for something specific. This Ultralight nano-oil is good for autos. Just having nano-oil at your disposal can make all the difference. If you are serious about your knives, you should be servicing them with KPL.

I have used Remington gun oil for pivots for years. First time using this Ultralight KPL in October 2022. It’s leaps and bounds better then what I’ve used. My knives are sooo much more smoother. I am not even a month with KPL and already know my next purchase from the site. KPL will be what I recommend and what I’ll keep using. Woo!
I have a Boker / Pro-Tech L.E. Kwaiken Compact Auto (Orange). The action was phenomenal already, and this has mad it that much better. Def recommend for Auto's.
Good product, but I think I still prefer regular weight KPL for knives with pivot bearings.

I love all KPL products, and the Ultra Light is no exception. I bought it specifically for my OTF and OTS autos, but it is also helpful for all actions, providing protection and lubrication. An added bonus is knowing that you're supporting an independent, USA business rather than some mega organization that may not even manufacture in the USA.
